Born in Madrid on  November 4,1891 

 Died at the Carmel of La Aldehuela Madrid, Spain,  on the 11th of December, 1974,

Beatified in Rome by Pope John Paul 11 on the 10th of May, 1998

Canonized in May of 2003.

 Saint Maria Maravillas

O Jesus Christ, 

Thou Who didst command us to learn from Thy Heart humility and meekness, 

I give Thee thanks for having glorified in the Church 

Thy humble servant Saint Maravillas de Jesus.

In this way, 

Thou hast shown, O Lord, 

that she has been rewarded in Heaven for her faithfulness in serving Thee here on earth. 

May the example of her virtues instil in many souls

the desire to follow the certain way,

 the truth and the life,

which is Thine alone.

Through the intercession of Saint Maravillas,

I ask that Thou wilt grant what I now implore.

(Make request then say:  One Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be.)
