Our Lady has 117 titles. She selected this title of " Our Lady of the Rosary "  at Lourdes ( France)  in 1858, 

and again at Fatima ( Portugal)  in 1917: 

" I am the Lady of the Rosary"

The Blessed Virgin Mary said to Saint Dominic.

" One day through the Rosary and the Scapula, I will save the World"

The Rosary is called "Our Lady's Psalter" because, instead of 150 Psalms, it has 150 Hail Mary's.  The Rosary is the only method of prayer which is celebrated throughout the universal Church with a Liturgy, namely, the feast of 

Our Lady of the Rosary.
